Thought I’d share some moments from last weekend. I was proud that my daughter created her own sign, and she was photographed by the League of Women Voters! I couldn’t have been more impressed with the young speakers. They are determined, influential, and most importantly correct. Nothing is going to stop this next generation from making our country a better place to live.
Proud of you guys Danica, your daughter as well!!! There was great turnout here in Dallas too! 😉 ❤

Awesome that you shared this historic experience with your daughter, and I think her sign says it perfectly!! I imagine a world where people are willing to take care of one another, so the belief that guns are necessary disappears. There is a time and a place for many things but not assault rifles or violence. Our children can change this world for the better and the time has definitely arrived!! Peace & Love, Anne

I guess you live in Milwaukee? Glad you and your daughter joined in the march. I am too crippled up to go, although I had hoped to go on my battery scooter
I worked at the Milwaukee Rep for two seasons (1968/69, 1969/70). I’m thinking that was before you were born, or at least before you went to the theater. This was during the last year of their old theater up on N. Oakland, not far from UWM, and the first year of the new theater in the new Performing Arts Center. . . which I see is now called the Marcus Center. The Rep was in the Todd Wehr theater. Maybe that’s you as a kid. ð¤
I would describe this period as my halcyon days! An idyllic time. . .one of my golden ages. . .rife with buoyant spirits. (OK, Steelman, knock it off)

From the old theater:
Dr. Chebutykin in *The Three Sisters*
The Herald in *Marat Sade*

âMax the butcher in the American premiere of *The Kitchen* by Sir Arnold Wesker
Happy Easter! (Just foolin’ with ya. It’s April Fools Day tomorrow.)
Cheers, Steelman âââ

Hi, Steelman!
How cool. I’m actually a Wisconsin newbie. I spent most of my youth in Chicagoland, and most of my adulthood in Miami, Florida. I just moved back up North a few years ago. I’m wondering if you posted pictures in your comment. I can’t see them, and I’d like to. Thanks for sharing!

That’s terrible. Is there a filter on that way of responding to you? Is there a regular email we could use?

I’m not sure, but I don’t see anything or any way to change it. I’m so sorry! Feel free to use my email from the contact section. If you post them on your own blog, I’d be happy to link to it as well. 🙂

Tried using the your email under the contact section, but it wouldn’t accept my name, email address, or website? Besides, I don’t think it would accept photos anyway. I wanted to show off some of my Milwaukee Rep production pics. You probably don’t want to use your personal email for security reasons. I get it. Oh well.

I’m really confused. I have had many, many readers contact me through the contact section with no difficulty. I will try to figure out why the photos aren’t posting and why the contact link isn’t working. My goodness, I hope the sky isn’t falling. I have way too much of my life on the cloud……

I haven’t given up, but I’m not really able to figure out why the contact form didn’t work. I would be hesitant to post an email in the comments, since it’s read worldwide (I’m sure by robots as well as by my wonderful readers!). I couldn’t find a contact section on your blog, I believe. I’m sorry! If you feel inclined to post the photos on your site, let me know and I’ll check them out there. I’m sorry. I’m not the most technologically adept, but I’m getting there. At any rate, have a Happy Easter Fool’s Day, haha!
